In fairness to the Pope, a lot of people do want to kill him because of his job. It's an occupational hazard and he has the right to stay safe.
Also, if he gets killed, it'll block headline news for days and more pressing issues that should be given emphasis to will be pushed aside for weeks, because a new Pope will have to be selected, etc etc.

Filipino Freethinkers group booted off Manila Cathedral by Anti-RH group

Before anybody starts assuming our guys did something stupid, let me clarify several details:
1. When our members were told they couldn't enter the Cathedral, they quietly waited outside.
2. They were verbally harrassed by member of the Pro-Life Philippines while they were standing outside the Cathedral.
3. The FF members had no intention of starting anything - the plan was simply to walk in, and listen to the mass, which was supposed to deliberate the RH Bill.
4. The Mass was not a private event - a signpost outside was inviting EVERYBODY to attend the service.
The reason our guys got the boot was apparently due to their DAMASO! T-shirts.
