Yesterday was Monkey Day guys
http://www.monkeyday.com/

And speaking of monkeys...

http://www.space.com/news/nasa-monkey-space-radiation-101213.html

Quote:The experiment, which would have been conducted at NASA's Space Radiation Laboratory at the Brookhaven National Laboratory on Long Island, called for exposing 27 squirrel monkeys to high-energy gamma-ray radiation so researchers could observe its effects on the monkeys' health and task performance. Animal-rights activists called the project cruel and poorly designed.

In a brief statement posted Dec. 8 on NASA's website, the agency said it will move forward only after completing a comprehensive review of its current research and technology development plans to see how they align with President Obama's plan for human spaceflight.

"We look forward to the findings of that review, which will inform our decision-making moving forward," NASA said.

"Chinese Scientists Genetically Modify Dairy Cows to Produce Human Breast Milk"

RE: Teh interesting animal-related news stub thread - Godfreyr - 06-08-2011

OMG, our next generation of humans will drink artificial breast milk, how lucky are they? Smile))))))))

RE: Teh interesting animal-related news stub thread - NiX - 06-08-2011

Assuming that the milk is 100% identical to that produced by humans, I'm all for it. I think it's weirder that we continue to consume milk from other species. Smile

RE: Teh interesting animal-related news stub thread - Godfreyr - 06-08-2011

I just don't know, nothing beats a good boob, ain't that right?

Maybe we got plenty of women with boobs infested with fake implants, crazy babies drinks toxins, health people worry. Hence, Cows.

COOL, if it is IDENTICAL, then everybody can drink woman-boob-milk anytime, any day! Pervert or non pervert alike.

RE: Teh interesting animal-related news stub thread - NiX - 06-08-2011

I'm not even considering any perversion implications from this. Sad

Now that you've mentioned it, it IS weird that we drink cow's milk anyway, so it's worth a shot Tongue
