RE: The FOOD Topic. - Shintetsu - 06-06-2009

Ooh, a McGangBang. Do want.

RE: The FOOD Topic. - Lord_Leperman - 06-07-2009

I had a LOT of those Mc Gangbangs when they introduced those discount coupons earlier this year, and they tasted good. Worth a try at least once, and its a pretty big sandwich. Bonus points if you try it with the double quarter pounder instead of the regular double cheeseburger available in some select Mc Donalds stores. I'm also looking forward to the Mc Surf n' Turf which consists of a quarter pounder and a Mc Filet o' Fish sandwiched beneath it.

RE: The FOOD Topic. - Shintetsu - 06-08-2009

Hey Rick, do all the Mc.Do's in GMA have this item, or at least in their 'hidden menu'?

Saan ka bumibili? I want a McGangBang. :3

RE: The FOOD Topic. - Lord_Leperman - 06-08-2009

I'm not sure. The only place I know which sells it is the branch in Rockwell and one along Buendia. I don't know if its available in any other places. Come to think of it, some branches of Mcdo don't even have some of the regular menu items. There was a time when I tried ordering a Filet o' Fish sandwich from a branch in Farmers Cubao only to be informed they don't sell them in that branch (its not even on the menu).

Japanese/Korean/Chinese TV drama list for food-related shows:
http://fashion4us.com/movie-drama-by-genres-food.action

Note: "Drama" does not literally mean "emo". A lot of the shows on that list are comedies. If you guys know any other shows that aren't on the list, feel free to let us know about it on this thread.

Edit: Osen is not on the list for example, but it's a very good food j-dorama Big grin

Did you guys see "Lardz"? LOL Lard balls rolled onto sugar.

RE: The FOOD Topic. - Sforza - 06-17-2009

I think this should be here instead of Rant/Rave.

Remember when I mentioned earlier that almost all the No Reservations episodes were up on Youtube?

The Southwest America episode was WIN.

Actually, the series so far is great LOL

Philippine episode was good. Actually, it was so-so, and then SISIG appeared. Then Cebu lechon! Then Anthony Bourdain called lechon "The Best Pig EVAR" Domo

I just watched the first part of the 2 hour Asia Special, which consists of Japan and China. At first I thought it was going to be just another Tokyo documentary type show, then it started out at some crazy sports bar in Osaka!

And everyone knows Osaka is more fun. And tasty. Because they have okonomiyaki and takoyaki, both of which were featured. So far it's shaping up to be as good as the Southwest America ep.

You can almost all the complete episodes here (HQ!):
