For Doc who requested this recipe for Pumpkin Soup, but I somehow keep on forgetting to post it.

Cooking Oil
1 Onion chopped
1/4 Pumpkin, peeled, seeds removed and chopped
1 cup water
1/2 cup all purpose cream
1/2 cup milk (any will do)
White pepper
Salt

1. Heat oil in a pan and add onions, cook until the tips are brown.
2. Fry the chopped pumpkin with the onions until tender.
3. Add 1 cup of water and let the mixture boil until the pumpkin bits are soft.
4. Put the pumpkin and water mixture into a blender and puree.
5. Put puree back in the pan, and add 1/2 cup of cream and 1/2 cup of milk.
6. Simmer till slightly thick, add salt and pepper to taste.

Oh mah gawd! That's great news indeed. I LOVE Brother's Fajita Burgers (secret menu!). I wonder if even the designer burgers are on sale. Tongue

RE: The FOOD Topic. - Lord_Leperman - 05-13-2009

Naw, its prolly just the Big Brother's burger, and I noticed the Highstreet branch is missing from the list!Shock

Nix, do tell me more about this secret menu. I am very much interested. Tongue

RE: The FOOD Topic. - maitreya - 05-13-2009

@Rick: Yup, sadly the brach at High Street isn't included. We called this morning, and they said they weren't part of the promo.

Pizza vending machine from Italy called "Let's Pizza" that cooks pizza from scratch in under 3 minutes. It also features a glass panel on the side so you can see your pizza being prepared:

Another Pizza vending machine, this time from the US (Notice the absence of preparation):

RE: The FOOD Topic. - strawhat_luffy - 06-06-2009

hmm...not sure if they have Sonic over in the Philippines, but if not, at least the few American RR's can learn something:

apparently, you can go to a Sonic and order(even though it isn't on the menu) a bag of Bacon. you get 5 slices for 30 cents, I think.

It reminds me a bit of the McGangBang, which may or may not have been posted earlier in this topic. if not, google it.
