I was reading the OB core frame thread when I had this nagging feeling to know how high can these cores go?

I remember my Moonlight reaching something just below 800kmh. I think it was around 790 more or less.

As I said before, I'm not much for technical details and this may not be the most pertinent thread here but I just want to know. Also, can you give some suggestions as to what part combinations may achieve the highest possible speed, hot or not. Thanks in advance.

Advanced Happy New Year to us all!

I tried this before but there aren't any good weapons XD
Head:lightest you got
Core:strongest you got(in OB of course)
arms:Syura
Legs:lightest you got
Boosters:TP
backTongueegasus
Blahblah
all I know is,this used to be what I tried for blading(gave up on it)
I'm very general coz uhh...I didn't memorize their names/I don't feel like checking or I just don't know what you have XD

Sorry if I'm too general

use the fastest hover legs+ob core+pegasus. i never tried this one though.

- NiX - 12-30-2006

If you want just pure OB speed, your boosters, or the PEGASUS, won't actually matter.

Just use the lightest head, EOS, the lightest arms, lightest legs (tuned 100% for max leg weight), lightest FCS, lightest radiator, lightest booster, lightest generator, and have no weapons or back mounts. That should elicit the fastest speed possible in LR. Haven't tried it though.

its somewhere around 840-865. I know because I actually tried it before. If my game worked I would test it. luckily I know have money left over from X-mas so I can go buy the game, hopefully today.

EDIT: well if I can find it, I can get it today. FINALLY I thought I was going to go crazy with no AC but 2 and 3, which are nothing like LR.

EDIT: I got LR and I tested it out. The fastest possible OB speed is 863.

With HPlus, It'll ignore your AC's upper body weight and set your AC's movement speed at max depending on the leg...
I don't recommend this though...

But how usuable is that AC in battle?

And, Why Aim for fastest OB speed? Can you actually handle that?

it will?

none at all, it has no weapons.

ask Lunar, I'm just the guy that did what she asked. Find out how fast an AC could go.

- Serene - 12-31-2006

I know that...
If it's got even just a blade, it will be usable...

And yes HPlus will do that, that why I discrourage its use...
HPlus is like Drugs... You may get hooked if you don't have discipline...
But sometimes, it's a good last resort...

The fastest I got was 860+ kph on the EOS with an ultra light frame tuned to the lightest. So, prolly a no. But in NX however, one can "Moonwalk" his way to over 1400kph due to a bug Tongue.

- strawhat_luffy - 12-31-2006

hell, there is no way that thing would be usable, it runs way too hot. even with a blade.

- Serene - 12-31-2006

Which means, the AC is just fast...

Yeah I saw that glitch in a compilation Blink
I wanna try it XD

ac drag race in born city...

Among my ACs, Gamma can reach 860kph, although i hafta drop everything first.

I'll see if i can get a pic of the speedomoter with those numbers on it.

blades don't have anything to do with heat.
