<a href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonfa' target='_blank'>Tonfa Batons</a>

Possible to apply both Boxing and Arnis principles at the same time.
well, I can't find the link, but the weapon was a Rocket Powered Chainsaw...
<a href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bo_staff' target='_blank'>bō (棒:ぼうWink</a>
Heavy staff from japan, not that whip like kung fu staff.

it all started in gradeschool when we pretend to be the ninja turtles, and i was <span style='color:purple'>Donatello</span>.
I always favor any staff weilding characters in video games, like that priest in Nightmare Creatures, and kilik in SoulCalibur.
I know its cliche but ... hand guns or smgs ...

for melee weapons I guess I chose my hands, mouth, and brain
<a href='http://www.military.com/soldiertech/0,14632,Soldiertech_RailGuns,,00.html' target='_blank'>Take a wild guess...</a>

Hehe...
mine would be the AWP Smile)
Maybe i've been playing too much .hack//G.U or watched a lot of Trinity Blood, but lately i've been wanting to weild one of <a href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scythe' target='_blank'>these</a>. There's just something frightening about those things when they're used as weapons instead of farming implements.

That's what i'd like if i were to choose a melee weapon. For something long-range, just gimme a longbow any day of the week. Tongue
Ayus...

Another one of my favorites would be this...
The german version of the Zanbatou, the <a href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bih%C3%A4nder' target='_blank'>Zweihander</a>

6 foot long and difficult to handle...
lol, any of you that have played Soul Calibur have seen an oversized Zweihander...

I tried to lift one of those one time...

the stupid think weighed about 85+ pounds.

and I was 11 at the time.
I remember that. On a side note, Soul Calibur III also has a guy (Zasalamel wasn't it?) who wields a scythe. I used to use him quite a bit back then.

If i remember my history right, Zweihanders were once used by East German mercenaries back in the fifteenth to seventeenth centuries. The Landsnecht Doppelsodners were basically used as shock troops whose jobs was to charge the opposing side's pikemen or spearmen. In exchange, they were paid double and got to carry around a bad-ass sword.
I think I've read that in a book at our library somewhere...
You guys should watch "Futureweapons" program on Discovery Channel Asia every Thursday at 10pm. They feature the next generation in small arms and conventional weapons.

So far, they featured the H&K MP7 PDW, new types of artillery shells, and remote controled Designated Marksmen robots.
Time to add another one...

<a href='http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v313/Epsilon-Omikron/800px-M82rifle.jpg' target='_blank'>Yipe...</a>
