First post in this thread, dunno if this one has been added already. I've been listening to a lot of FLOW lately and tried to see if could find the video on YT. Found the actual one as well as a this particular gem.

I don't know much bullcrap about AMVs but i do dare opine that this one is fething good.

I feel like a critic

Anyways...before I type something, may I say I'm TRYING to be nice to the person who made that AMV

One, subtitles maybe hard to remove but TRY to remove them anyway - regardless, you WILL get flames about them.

Two, It IS the full version of the opening song, thus the person can "cheat" by using clips that were already used for that song.

Three, No sync or scene sync, in other words... a bunch of random clips cut and pasted together to make a random AMV with WMM effects.


Four, song pacing.

Five, the guy who posted it got it from another guy in youtube who did NOT get credit for the video.

The one who uploaded it got 30,000+ views with 127 rates.

The one who made it got 3,900+ views with 14 rates.

Six, if you're gonna upload something that you don't own, make sure it's worthwhile.

So...aside from that, it was okay, not great - but okay lang

Whoa, that was more than an earful there. Pardon the presumptuousness but i seem to be treading on unfamiliar ground, since i don't generally watch AMVs. I'll try to judge them more carefully from now on.

Note to self - don't get Ms. Hyper worked up too much with these kinds of posts.

If you're after "great AMVs" they're MADs actually

"Tips" to find some:
-type a "topic show" and then type "MAD"
the problem with that is (with FMA) it will most likely have a lot of "Mad World" AMVs

-Irregardless of the number of views, faves and rates - check the date when it was uploaded.

-If you find a really good AMV/MAD, browse the vid maker/Channel.

-Don't fave-happy, there might be a even better one than the one you're watching right now.
