1.02 Patch notes are out. One thing that isn't noted on the patch notes is that the Coral Missile Launcher now has a Blast Radius stats. Unfortunately I didn't take a view of pre-core and internal parts so I can't cross reference anything other than weapons.

A new patch has been distributed to improve gameplay stability and make balance adjustments. Please apply the latest patch before playing the game.

Please note that this patch is focused on balance adjustments that will allow players more build diversity in the early and mid-game when assembling their AC, as well as bug fixes.
PvP oriented balance adjustments will be released at a future date.

Bug Fixes

    Fixed a bug that prevented certain weapons from dealing damage to the boss of the mission “Destroy the Weaponized Mining Ship”.
    Fixed a bug that caused the boss of the mission “Prevent Corporate Salvage of New Tech” to be unable to detect the player.
    Fixed a bug that caused certain enemies to not be displayed correctly during the mission “Survey the Uninhabited Floating City”.
    Fixed a bug that caused certain enemies and background objects to be displayed incorrectly during the mission “Attack the Old Spaceport”.
    Fixed a bug that caused vertical missiles and certain coral weapons to deal unintended amounts of damage.
    Improved camera controls when spectating online arena battles.
    Fixed a bug that caused the punch animation to not be displayed correctly on the opponent’s screen during online arena battles.
    Other bug fixes.
    [Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S / Steam] Fixed a bug that caused the game to enter offline mode and unable to save progress after the device recovers from sleep mode.
    [Steam] Fixed the text displayed onscreen after selecting “Quit Game” from the System Menu on the title screen.
    [Steam] Fixed a bug causing certain bosses to be rendered incorrectly.

Notice to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, XSX|S Players

If the game is set to boot to offline mode in the Network Settings inside the System Menu, the latest regulation files will not be downloaded even if the update is applied (the game will remain at Regulation Ver. 1.02). Please ensure the game is set to online mode before attempting to apply this update.

Additions
  • When spectating an online match, the “QUIT SPECTATE” option has been added to the menu, allowing spectators to return to the multiplayer room.
  • Added “Chg. Ammo Consumption” parameter to the “IB-C03W3: NGI 006” coral missile part specs shown via “Toggle Display”.
  • Added “Scan Standby Time” parameter to head part specs shown via “Toggle Display”.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug that caused certain enemies or enemy actions to get stuck on terrain during the mission “Intercept the Redguns”.
  • Fixed a bug that caused enemies to stop appearing when the player stands in a certain spot during the mission “Escort the Weaponized Mining Ship”.
  • Fixed a bug that caused defeated enemies to remain visible on radar during the mission “Breach the Karman Line”.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the second shot of certain burst fire weapons to veer heavily off target when fired while performing a drift turn on Tank legs.
  • Fixed a bug that caused boost to disable under certain conditions with Tetrapod legs equipped.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred with the “VP-66LS” laser shotgun equipped to the left hand, which caused a longer delay than intended between firing a charge shot and being able to fire a normal shot again.
  • Fixed a bug with the “VP-60LT” laser turret, where it would not respond to the sub-generators during the mission “Destroy the Weaponized Mining Ship”.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred while reloading the “Vvc-700LD” laser drone, which caused player AC orientation to lock to a target, even with Target Assist disabled.
  • Fixed a bug that caused incorrect icons to be displayed for intended damage type or reload type in the part specs for certain weapon parts.
  • Adjusted the timing window of being able to use repair kits while firing certain weapons.
  • Fixed a bug with certain melee weapons that caused the “Chg. Attack Power” parameter to display an unintended value in the part specs shown via “Toggle Display”.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred after firing a charge shot during assault boost, which caused a consecutive normal shot to fire unintentionally.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented damage caused by status effects from being displayed on the HUD.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash from the “AC Data” menu in certain situations.
  • Due to behavioural issues in photo mode, removed the “Motion Blur” option and added the “Camera Blur” option.
    • *NB: We plan to restore the Motion Blur option in a future update.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Trophies/Achievements from unlocking under certain circumstances if unlock requirements involved acquiring parts.
    • *NB: If any of the following Trophies/Achievements fails to unlock, go to the Shop menu and sell any part from the relevant category. Buying the part back again will trigger the unlock.
      • “Weapon Collector”
      • “External Parts Collector”
      • “Internal Parts Collector”
  • Changed behavior in online match rooms, so that players are informed when the match is starting even while they have another menu open (e.g. Assembly).
  • Fixed a bug that caused screen transitions to behave incorrectly when launching the game by accepting an online match invite.
  • Other performance improvements and minor bug fixes.

Steam
  • Fixed a bug that occurred when changing screen mode, which caused the HUD to render incorrectly.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when changing graphics settings from the System menu while in a multiplayer room.
  • Share IDs are now recognized when entered in either upper or lower case.

Other Changes
  • Updated “Data Usage Agreement” text for the Japanese version.
    • *NB: After applying the update, the confirmation screen will appear once more for all players.

MAJOR ITEMS INCLUDED IN THE LATEST REGULATION UPDATE:
Improvements and Bug Fixes

    Fixed a bug that was preventing AC Data from being loaded when it was using a decal whose image had been deleted from the game server

*Note: now when loading such AC Data, the corresponding decal will be removed

    Fixed a bug with FLAMETHROWER “WB-0000 BAD COOK” when equipped to the right hand, where firing the weapon while hovering with Tetrapod legs temporarily disabled effects and hit boxes
    Fixed a bug with CORAL OSCILLATOR “IB-CO3W2: WLT 101” where charged attacks had less range when certain parts were equipped
    Fixed a bug with CORAL RIFLE “IB-C03W1: WLT 011” where fully charged attacks would cancel if the attack button was held continuously
    Mitigated issues where frame rate changes would affect the player AC’s firing accuracy and the rapid fire performance of some weapons
    Fixed a bug where using a weapon immediately after switching to it with Weapon Bay caused attack animations and weapon animations to play incorrectly
    Fixed a bug with online matches where an opponent AC would not render if decals were applied to it
    Fixed a bug in the mission “Escape” where some events failed to trigger under certain circumstances
    Fixed a bug in the mission “Ocean Crossing” where the player could get soft-locked under certain circumstances
    Made corrections to the REPLAY MISSION tutorial text, which did not sufficiently explain the actual conditions for achieving an S-Rank rating

The text now reads as follows:

“To achieve an S-Rank rating, you must complete the mission without retrying from a checkpoint, while also destroying a large number of enemy targets and minimizing incoming damage, time taken, and ammunition consumed.”

    Fixed a bug where the game would fail to load after selecting CONTINUE from the Title Screen under certain circumstances
    Fixed a bug where the game would crash after changing parts in the ASSEMBLY menu during AC TEST
    Other bug fixes and performance improvements



【Steam】

    Changed Title Screen behavior so that control guide device settings do not change according to the device used to “PRESS ANY BUTTON”
