WOW man some huge improvements indeed
Go finish man-bat already!
Cool stuff. You planning on animating them any day?
lol i wish i can animate them but rendering takes hours plus animating a character also takes hours even in 3d let me put it this way widget just a simple 700 frame turn around animation for my demo reel took roughly 6 hours to render and thats just the model as a still XD
so unless i have a super computer or an army of pc's/laptop at my disposal like what studios have XD rendering an animation of it isnt a good idea takes up too much time unless i render it a lower quality
"WOW man some huge improvements indeed "
yeah one time in one of the forums i visit nagpakamalan nag aaral ako ng visual effects and such sa U.S. XD lol i had to tell them my skills are 80-90percent self taught ...all i have to work with is passion, net, a lot of failures to learn from and sometimes a bit of advice from my college proffessors...if they are not busy XD and i dont live in the U.S. but i wish i did
....too bad wala pa ako mahanap opening for 3d artist Xd specifically 3d for films/games
i guess that means something...but the improvement didnt come with out hardwork and...a hell lot of failed attempts...and this new laptop helped a lot XD been practicing roughly for a month 24/7 usually sleep at 4am waking up around lunch time just practicing my craft
WEEEEEEEE EURIKA IT WORKED!
Alam ko na secret ninyo mga students abroad WAHAHAHA XD after countless nights (been doing for roughly a month lately) of staying up till 4 am or 5am...XD ...and many failed render test >_<
HAHAHAHWAKEKEKEKEWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE....i think i am going nuts >_<

wireframe
for now anatomy is off but new the technique i just have to keep practicing
but at least finally know how it works
Awesome lighting. The glassy/glossy effect looks photo-realistic enough to me.
I wonder how long that took you to render. O_O
actually not that long XD
hmmm around 2-5 minutes or so
but getting the right amount of light, right settings for the textures, right settings to make the most without crashing the pc etc took a while
also testing one of the popular shading engines which is used to simulate real skin , how it reacts to light and such
downside with this shading engine is...it is usually used in cinematics/vfx/film pipeline...
in actual game play XD this shading engine is to heavy to be in used in a actual game play environment
I don't recognize him.
But you're getting good at 3D rendering.
ill give you another clue it was a anime shown in animax and it also has a comic
Well since the file name is a capital sin, I'll guess that it's one of the baddies from FMA (which I didn't watch in full)
