hello pips I've currently gathering info for my subject Community Psychology concerning the awareness and priority of people and the leaders of their community to the services of Community Psychologists

anyway the questions are

1) Are you in touch with your communities ( barangay, subdivision, blocks) leaders / basically are you aware of the current state of YOUR community. ( yes as we are a gaming centered group this maybe out of place but what hurt is it in asking right?)

2) does your community in anyway actively attempt to improve your community as a whole ( gatherings, inter community projects, etc etc)

2.1) does your community organization try to involve you and/or your family in these occations

2.2) when these invitations do come how do you respond.

3) What does your community prioritize (security, luxury, interactivity

4) What specialist (if any) does your community employ to assist in their efforts to "better" your community.

I know I can ask more (and clearer) questions but nones coming to mind as of the late ... if you have questions yourselves please ask any and all information on this matter would be useful

basically this would be part of my 2 projects for community psychology 1) is a critique paper on the status of community psychology in the Philippines 2) is on a study Im doing on my own community

any and all answers here that will be used will be credited to whom ever gave them. and in any case no names shall be used unless permitted or necessary (but I could end up putting this into a statistical table so not to many worries there).

thank you for all that can help Worship
Boredom.

Not in touch, and partially aware.

Yeah. There are some, but for all I can remember, only the Bug Control program makes sense imo.

clonezero Wrote:2.1) does your community organization try to involve you and/or your family in these occations
Sometimes.

clonezero Wrote:2.2) when these invitations do come how do you respond.
I would probably just ignore them, except for health-related programs like some free kinda vaccination or something.

Luxury imo. Broken roads and more crap scattered around the town. The police cars are a different story though.

Probably sociologists. And more police officers.
1) Are you in touch with your communities ( barangay, subdivision, blocks) leaders / basically are you aware of the current state of YOUR community.

I have no permanent community, since I just board here and i'm always on the go. As to this place, no.

2) does your community in anyway actively attempt to improve your community as a whole ( gatherings, inter community projects, etc etc)

Noes. Kahit tubig dito (aptly named the "community" tap faucet), kahit maki igib lang may 100pesos na bayad. ShoopdaWhoop.

2.1) does your community organization try to involve you and/or your family in these occations

Nope, they're a bunch of ppl leeching cable connections(tha's illegal) and sitting the whole day off slacking in the barangay hall, holding meetings FOR TRICYCLE DRIVERS.

2.2) when these invitations do come how do you respond.

No thanks, They wouldn't do that even if they did.

3) What does your community prioritize (security, luxury, interactivity

Nothing, imho.

4) What specialist (if any) does your community employ to assist in their efforts to "better" your community.

Tricycle Drivers. Owned.
1. Although I know some of the subdivision heads, I'm not really in touch with them all the time. In short, no.
2. Yes they do. They have some programs here and there that attempt to improve security, improve cleanliness and keep up the general order of things.
2.1. Yes they try, through newsletters and such.
2.2. With a bit of indifference.
3. Since there has been a history of robbing and looting in our subdivision, the community prioritizes security and safety concerns in their programs.
4. I wouldn't know of any specialists, although they probably hire the help of lawyers and such.
