Try listening to Paramore, they're pretty good too. They're a bit on pop-level popularity now, but it's still good music.

Songs:
Pressure
Misery Business

the singer is sooooo pretty Bye
Is this entire thread still addressed to Nix? I have a feeling his ipod ought to be filled up by now. LOL

Anyway, wanted to comment that I didn't like Paramore so much precisely because they sound too generic, something like the sound you'd get from squishing Avril Lavigne and Fall Out Boy. I prefer to think of them as one of those bands that I like now, but will forget about in a week. They're not bad to listen to though.

A few indie album recs:

Wilco - A Ghost Is Born
Burial - Untrue
Robert Plant/Alison Krauss - Raising Sand
Dirty Projectors - Rise Above
PJ Harvey - White Chalk

notes: Burial is a dubstep musician. Dubstep is electronic dance music distinguished by its dark mood, sparse rhythms, and emphasis on bass.

Robert Plant is the lead vocalist of Led Zeppelin. Alison Krauss is one of the most famous bluegrass/country singers in the world.

The others are what I'd call experimental rock. All of them are indie releases, except for the PJ Harvey album, so I can't exactly recommend singles. I can upload them too if anyone's interested.
Hahah you don't have to address all your recommendations to me! Address them to the whole of RR! LOL

Note: My Mp3 player is still not full. hahah

My supervisor once sang "Brighter" when she got drunk. Apparently, the alcohol allowed her to do an almost-perfect rendition but she couldn't hit some of the notes thought. Tongue
