gaming addiction is real. the fact that there are forums for it is a testament to people's passion/addiction for it. MMOs are the bringers of doom. Dota is another one but dota is a freakin joke (no offense to those who love it...)

things like that happen because there are parents that dont know how to discipline their children during their younger years. thats why there are hoodlums that do that to other people. my mom has never failed to nag me while i play video games but ive never found it in my heart to hit her. its not because of video game addiction. bullshit like this happens because some people have screwed up morals... it applies to everything in life. people kill for power/politics, for drugs, money, for "LOVE"!!!, and many other issues that exist in our world. video games isnt any different.
