GA Sunshine AC Model Kit
Dare I say that I'm screaming like a fangirl along Otome Road? This scanned picture from the latest issue of Hobby Japan (or Dengeki Hobby Magazine, we really couldn't tell) shows what seems to be a planned model kit from Kotobukiya's Variable Infinity line of Armored Core models. This next attraction comes in the form of the GA SUNSHINE, one of the default corporate sponsored ACs available to the player in Armored Core 4 and Armored Core: For Answer. The kit appears to feature two bazookas and two missile packs, though this may change as time goes by. No plans for a release date as of the moment, but it is definitely something to look out for if you want an AC on the heavy side.
Thanks J.E. for making us go Kyaaa~.

Wonder Festival 2010: New Kotobukiya AC Kits

Now That’s an Armored Core: Aaliyah Custom
Found over at Armored Core-Wiki. Looks like Nineball Seraph isn't the only awesome bird in the sky. This heavily modded custom Aaliyah made by "Riyu Mu" (ゆむ) looks like it can dominate the heavens and rule over the throne held by Armored Core's big bad guy. Safe to say, it'd be interesting what a four way battle will look like between this guy, Nineball Seraph, Crest Black Rain, and the Cronus Vestal. More pictures after the jump:
Oh you sexy LAHIRE!
The LAHIRE model kit will be available in local hobby stores (hopefully) by April or May 2010. The kit features Otsdarva's AC Stasis, the No.1 Collard ranker featured in Armored Core: for Answer along with all the weapons and trimmings. The kit includes the 0700 assault rifle, 0507 heavy laser rifle, PM missiles, and a radar pack along with some stabilizers. Its unusual joints and small limbs make it an unusual design in a series filled with beefy giant robots, but otherwise it's mech sexy as any other AC. Go grab one if you want your AC on a diet.
EDIT: Thanks cabs for the correction.
You’ve Got A Robot Doggie In My Noblesse Oblige
It seems that there is a hidden part discovered in Kotobukiya's 1/72 scale Noblesse Oblige model kit from Armored Core 4. Can you tell from which part of the model kit this cute robot dog comes from? The answer after the jump.
1/72 Tellus Gunmetal Version By Kotobukiya Released
The limited edition gunmetal version of Kotobukiya's Tellus model kit from Armored Core 4 has finally been released and is (hopefully) available in your local hobby center. The gunmetal version considerably has different weapons compared to the original, most noticeable is the absence of the backmount folding laser cannon replaced by a radar part. Go grab one if you feel like having your Tellus kit with different colors.
Thanks to Isburai for the heads-up.
Scratch-Built AC ‘Opening’ from AC:FA
No, we're not dead. It's just been a slow week.
This AC's name is indeed Opening, which is Malzel's AC from AC:FA, one of the high members of ORCA in the game. I was confused for a bit there, but do enjoy the look of this model created by Shinsa in FGsite. Equipped with scratch-built GA parts (except for the HOGIRE core) and a lot of heavy weapons (especially the BIGSIOUX large missiles and the YAMAGA grenade cannon), this is turning out to be my kind of AC. Scratch Built X-SOBRERO Armored Core Model
A scratch built SOBRERO AC from Armored Core: For Answer created by maro2501 in FGsite. It take a lot of skill and determination to pull this one off. Just look at the back mount quad chain-guns, who knows how much time were spent on making those and there are 2 of them! More pictures of this model after the jump.
The Armored Core Effect
Forum member J.E. Magog was busy creating these model images using an SLR camera, light painting, and a lot of creativity. The resulting images are nothing short of awesome. More images after the jump:
Now That’s an Armored Core: Cronus Custom VESTAL
Oh boy here we go again. From 507 the creator of the ever so beautiful Crest Heavy Fighting Type "Black Rain" comes another beast of an AC machine simply called VESTAL which is a (heavily) modified CRONUS model kit. In contrast to his previous creation, this one seems to be built for speed and flight. Read on for more pictures of this beautiful AC.
