NSFW: Even if You Live in a House of Gold, Dancing Like an Idiot Still Makes You an Idiot.

Or in this case, living in a house with an awesome Neo-Geo games collection. However, I wouldn’t think that anyone would ever disgrace themselves in front of something like the Holy Grail. I would assume that the guy in the picture/video isn’t the real owner and he’s just a random sex offender out to sodomize the owner’s pet gerbil. He gets erotically stimulated by the presence of such an awesome Neo-Geo games collection instead and grabs the webcam in the room and starts showing off the collection as if it were his own, mooning his prized buttocks and stimulating his nipples in the process. Rising Vegetable Prices Due to Recent Typhoons

Normally, you’d hear parents telling their kids to eat more vegetables. In light of recent events however, supply-strapped families in RP may have to go carnivore with their dining habits.

Giant Beetle Robot RX-03

A robotics hobbyist created this wonderful giant working beetle-bot that looks good enough to be in Terminator movie. A labor of love for many years, the RX-03 boasts an internal cockpit that can hold an average adult, a controller configuration that looks something out of Steel Battalion, and can actually walk under its own power. Evolution

Evolution is a wonderful thing, don’t you think?

We here at the Raven Republic certainly think so. It’s what we’ve thrived on these past few years, growing from a small online community who didn’t know each other personally, to a (still relatively) small online community, but tighter-knit this time.

Once we were all about just Armored Core, and with no real intention to speak to each other beyond those terms. Now we’ve realized that the wealth of other interesting stuff exists to talk about, even if we’re just talking about mecha. And that’s not all we’re talking about now.

So I guess that’s what this new change represents. Growth in a newer, more open direction. Specifically, into the bigger realm of mecha, anime, and video games. And food. Glorious, delicious food.

We’re still an Armored Core fanbase though, and a rather loyal one at that. The recent revival of Armored Core on the PSP has us all excited. I realize not all AC players like this new development, but as what’s been proven time and again over AC’s lifetime, you can’t please everyone with a single release.

So with that, I bid you welcome to the new and improved RR! Evolution is a wonderful thing.

Star Wars Uncut: Fan-Made Star Wars Remake

Think you can do a better job than George Lucas in directing a Star Wars film? Here’s your chance at 15 seconds of fame by participating in Star Wars Uncut. This is a fan collaboration done by various Star Wars fans around the world, with each tagging a particular scene from Episode 4: A New Hope and re-making it in their own vision, 15 seconds at a time.

It’ll be interesting how fans will interpret and re-make the more spectacular scenes in the movie such as the Red Squadron vs. the Death Star scene as forum member Fox has pointed out. That and how the various fan versions of Chewbacca might turn out.

Thanks to Grim for the heads up.
