the merkava has always been unique among the MBTs since it was designed based on lessons learned from pervious wars. also, the israelis seem to blend NATO and russian armor concepts (passive and active protection).

i'm also a fan of the leopard 2 since it's powered by a diesel engine. fuel economy ftw! Big grin it also looks badass with the applique armor on, especially the sweddish upgrade.
