Overview:
Think of this as a faster version and more aggresive cousin to Nit'oichi, my previous quad design.
Based on my last few bouts, I noticed that I needed more close-range clout, and flat-out speed, so I'm experimenting with the linear cannon arms for this: they're dangerous at mid-range, but suffer from a small lockbox. It was either these or the MG arms, which mesh well with the EO's, with a bit of weight tuning.

I'm not entirely satisfied with the lockbox problems, and it's thin-skinned, and the Cetus have horrid drain, but like the namesake, I built it for hit-and-runs and flanks, married to raw firepower - the infamous Ladon/GL combo is still a mainstay here. That, and the secondary fire feature on the Cetus comboed with the Ladon is a surefire way to scorch an OB AC's day. XD

Color it red to make it look like cooked crab...

Kidding...

Anyways... These linear arms are good weapons, by means of heat...
But since weapon arms lack defense, maybe you can fit shield extensions like the Turbot or SS2...

I really don't know if our FCS is an SW lock type, but try to put something with an SW...

I went with Leper's suggestion, and tried to marry the Selena and Geryon2 to this frame, and honestly, I was expecting the worst...(energy drain, yikes!)

It turned out a hell of a lot better than I thought.

The Geryon2's used as a pop-up gun, and is preferably shot at close to mid-range, mush like the old GL, and as a fade-away weapon.

The Ladon's for long-range shootouts, and the
MG's are coupled with the Selena's Eo's for close-range work, it rips up anything that gets close very nicely, and the 398 speed on this frame allows me to dart in and out of close range, sucker-punching with either the Ladon or Geryon2.

Sure, energy's a bit fiddly, but the parts combination gave this light a 1887 rating on shell def - pretty damn sturdy for its weight class and speed.

Just keep an eye on your En gauge, count your shots, and you should be fine.

I'd get rid of SS, there's no use for them now since they only provide a defense addition when you're being fired at from a 90* angle. If your opponent is there no ammount of extra def can save you.

Also the Mantis, I can understand the originality but with SS gone you might as well go with SR2 which despite being a little heavy has great Def and to top it off a nice Stab for a Radar head, that and with R+ you've got a nice radar range too.

Nice design though, definately not something I'd want to mess around with.

Edit: I'd tune Gull to about 0,0,4,6 just to give it a nice Accel boost.

Yeah I know this topic is a little stale already but I only noticed now...

It might do you good to change the F73H to something like the MIROKU, or one of the FCSes that don't specialize in dual gunning, since you you've got no left arm weapon anyway (weapon arms are considered a single weapon IIRC)... That's pretty much it.

I remember this design packing handguns. In any case, th MIROKU is a bad choice for single ND locks since the lock box shrinks to unuseable levels.
