Method Behind the Madness
  • pluck away at the opponent at long-range with the WR73RS sniper rifle while using the YWB05MV2 vertical missiles with the E92RM3 missile extensions to keep them on their toes. the WH01HP is used to expand the lockbox and also in the case they get close enough for you to use it. it also stuns very well and breaks parts kind of easy. when the sniper rifle and the missiles run out of ammo, rush in with the handguns and go for the kill.

it doesn't look like much on the graph, but this AC is really cheap and takes advantage of a lot of the exploits in the game. i'm usually forced to change some parts to tone it down for tournaments, usually the arms and/or the handguns, but this is my staple used for free vs play against friends.

questions, comments and suggestions are more than welcome. salamat po in advance for reviewing my AC.</li>

You've got things pretty much nailed down. Its a solid mid with accurate arm weapons weapons with excelent mobility, which is very exploitable thanks to the UL's OB Big grin. I'm sure that it can easily take down lights with the kind of weapons it has and circle arround slower opponents.

My only gripe with the weapons is the MV2, where I believe it can be easily replaced with the regular MV in order to save weight. Although admitedly, the MV2 does stir up opponents a little bit more than the standard MV because of the random tragectory of its missiles. Its your call but either way is good IMO. I'm not too sure with the LOTUS powering the 98L as well, I really think you need the energy for mobility... Try the RS instead as a substitute if you can handle the smaller lock box.

Also, I'm not too sure if the arm weapons can deal enough damage against more heavily armored opponents such as tanks or heavy quads, where their backmounts might pose a problem with your current hand mount setup in a damage race. I know the AC's mobility should even things out, but I'm just worried when its up against damage racers in enclosed maps.

Yup, pretty much in order with things here. I'd also tell you that some of the parts are banned, but you already know that. No use beating a dead horse.

I'd agree with what some of the guys over at ACO said of this design though, tune Gull to (0,0,7,3) or even (0,0,6,4).

cool. i did the tunes on the gull and it only runs like 10 degrees hotter now, but feels a bit faster too. thanks!
