For some reason ants are attracted to water in cups.

I usually have one lying near me because of the damned heat.

The incident first happened sometime ago, and since then I always look at what's inside my cup before drinking.

The second time happened because I wasn't paying much attention to the cup as I was busy laughing at an episode of Kamichu! I was rewatching.
