The sniper cannon arms. Are they meant to be used that way? No scoping wtf? They make sense with tank builds but I don't get why you couldn't scope with the other legs.

RE: Armored Core: Verdict Day - Sero - 10-17-2013

They feel like a glorified rifle without the scope. Cqc sniper rifle?

RE: Armored Core: Verdict Day - Zefyr - 10-18-2013

Maybe there's a secret zoom button....

RE: Armored Core: Verdict Day - Sirius140 - 10-18-2013

Or a secret scope part in a dumpster somewhere

RE: Armored Core: Verdict Day - Sero - 10-20-2013

I see a scope when you pull the trigger in the ac viewer... I think they forgot the firmware for it.

The towers are way too big, but there's one level that shows some downed satellite-looking things firing lasers at everyone.

By the way, dear veterans. If you guys really wish to buy R1 ACVD, I suggest you just purchase the digital copy in PSN, $50. A little bit pricy, but it's R1. I asked Data blitz about the R1 copy, they said it's unlikely that they'll have it in stock because there was no R1 ACVD reistered on their system.

Will a shield deflect attacks while it's in the bay unit? Like blocking some stuff from the sides?

It was something like that in last raven right? Where shields block things when am is on standby facing to the side

RE: Armored Core: Verdict Day - R.Leonhardt - 10-21-2013

No, not even on last raven unless the shield was installed on the shoulders. Even worse in Last Raven, you have to deploy the shield for it to start deflecting.

RE: Armored Core: Verdict Day - Zefyr - 10-22-2013

@J.E. Yeah, now that I look at the towers they look like giant upside-down shuttles. Myyyysteryyyy~

Oh that would've been a cool tidbit, if the Shield was in the bay unit it would help to deflect Side or back attacks. Then errybody starts running shields XD

RE: Armored Core: Verdict Day - Serene - 10-22-2013

shields are the closest thing to potions in acvd.
defense stats might also be separate from your ac's.could somebody confirm that?

RE: Armored Core: Verdict Day - J.E_Magog - 10-22-2013

Yeah the shields have their own AP and def stats. The high AP KE shield will easily break with a few battle rifle shots.

Speaking of breaking, I just noticed that parts of an ACs armor break off when they reach a certain amount of damage.

RE: Armored Core: Verdict Day - R.Leonhardt - 10-22-2013

Yeah, armor breaking was present even in ACV. Not necessarily happens when your ac's ap drop to a certain point, but it has more to do with a weapon's impact force. When armor breaks, your deffenses drop by a certain amount. 10 to 20%, I forgot where I found this info out

RE: Armored Core: Verdict Day - Sero - 10-22-2013

I was actually hoping for part destruction cause an ac in the one of the acvd trailers lost its arm after a hit. It was a cutscene lang pala

RE: Armored Core: Verdict Day - R.Leonhardt - 10-22-2013
