I use the Chimei as a dual monitor quite often to. One side has a game on, the other side has a browser window open and stuff like foobar (music) and ym/pidgin. I'm not sure if all computers come with HDMI out though; haven't bought a new one in a while.

You can still get 1920x1080 HD resolutions from hi res VGA cables (edit: assuming your vid card and TV can handle it). No need for HDMI. Smile
