It's been a while since I posted here...

This AC actually originated while I was playing Formula Front on my sister's PSP, but trying to adapt it to LR seems to be much more fun.

Arm Unit L Hanger: NONE
CR-O69ES, CR-O71EC, CR-O75LA, CR-O79L+, O02-ORGANELLE, O03-CODON,
MARISHI

Haven't done tuning yet, so I'll come back to this later...

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Interesting design... so much so that I've picked up LR again after a few weeks because of it. That and the fact that we don't see too many hovers finding their way in here. Lol.

First impressions... Cronus + hover = paper defenses. Still, it's got nice speed, so I thought it could hold.

Now I'm not much of a hover player (Wait, scratch that. I don't use hovers at all.), but I can see this winning with some careful play. You got the verts to lure 'em in, and the bazooka arms to overrun them with. I can't help but say that the Centaurs are a wee bit too heavy for your AC though... making your speed limited to a nice and even 500. Tongue Why not use one MV vert pack instead, and pack almost the same lethality in your backmounts? You'll up your speed more too.

The bazooka arms are fun to play around with, but they're terribly inaccurate in midrange in either mode, making them CQC-deterrents only, or aggressive close combat weapons. But when they do hit... ouch.

G84P is too hot for this AC. Get the G69, which works well with hovers and their insane booster heat values. You won't heat up at all, even when you hold down the boost button continuously.

Oh, and you have 4 extra optional slots. Put in EC.
Thanks for the suggestion on the G69. Now I can really test some new weapons out, like this setup:

Pilot Name: Raven Master
AC Name: Z. Knight (Missile Only Version)

Head: YH15-DRONE
Core: YC07-CRONUS hanger
Arms: CR-WA74BZL
Legs: LN04-WALRUS2
Booster: built in
FCS: MONJU
Generator: CR-G69
Radiator: ANANDA
Inside: NONE
Extension: JIKYOH RELATION MISSILE
Back Unit R: WB18M-CENTAUR VERTICAL MISSILE
Back Unit L: WB18M-CENTAUR VERTICAL MISSILE
Arm Unit R: NONE
Arm Unit L: NONE

Arm Unit R Hanger: NONE
Arm Unit L Hanger: NONE

CR-O69ES, CR-O71EC, CR-O75LA, CR-O79L+, O02-ORGANELLE, O03-CODON, MARISHI

Oh yeah, I remember putting the EC op before.

EDIT: Finally corrected the part list with the gen. That took a while before I noticed...
I swear i read that as "Z PIRATE" Shock

Damn Disgaea 2!!!

DAMN YOU JAPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!11!!1~!!1!!
The initial design would be Jesus back in the days of NX, as the BZ arms were relatively accurate and highly damaging compared to other weapons in its class (except the CETUS arms) and paired up with the WALRUS2 made this an AC a fast, mobile, and hard hitting unit. The CENTAURs were also pretty nasty back then.

The same can't be said with LR's tweaks and physics change however. The WALRUS2 have been nerfed by removing their once awesome acceleration and there are now better weapon arm choices. Also, the CENTAUR can be easily dodged now compared back then. G84P + WALRUS2 booster = HOT. Consider the suggestion earlier for a LOTUS, FUDOH, or maybe the G69 (although the FUDOH is most compatible with the leg set IMO).

Try other hovers as well in case you do find one that you like. Big grin
Tried finding other hover legs, and I'm divided to just 2(excluding hover-style tank legs):

SEALION- good weight cap, but not as fast as the WALRUS2
91HM- fastest of all hovers, crap load cap

I'll accept any suggestions on the legs, though. Happy
Try the LN85, it has to be the most balanced hover leg unit in the game with excelent boost speed/acceleration stats relative to heat and boost drain. It also helps that the leg set has an above average weight cap and decent defense (for its leg type).

The LN79 is also quite good if you're looking for a buff defense based hover, as it has less drain than the LN85 with a superior weight cap at the expense of some mobiity.

The WALRUS2's inferior acceleration stat
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll be looking forward to testing them, but the testing will have to wait. Still babysitting until later.

Why did I even agree to babysit, anyway?
