Wipeout 2048:
Has a really nice style depicting automobile racing through the years, leading to the fictional setting of the game.


Onimusha 3:
Really nice and long opening chock full of action sequences:


Ace Combat 3 (JP)
A shame the entirety of the game wasn't ported over in English. The awesome intro sequence was left out as a consequence.


Resident Evil 3
One of the early Zombie Apocalypse rendered videos I know of. Action starts somewhere before the first minute.

Warhammer: Mark of Chaos
Dark medieval fantasy opening. Really well made, if only the game were as good .

Makes me wish that Bamco just released a port of this on the PS3 instead of that other game.

Assassin's Creed Revelation's trailer. This is also the intro, less a few scenes and words, but the music from this version owns the real intro.

Yeah, story-wise, it's probably the best AC, but I'm pretending the US version doesn't exist though.

I believe there's a fan translation of the dialogue floating around the web.

More than good enough for the intro cinematic but wasn't used in the game Too many differences it seems
