So here's the jist: My GF just gave up on her itouch(constant itunes problem), and I'm searching for a more than capable alternative. Can ya suggest something realy similar and at the same time offers more than that piece of shit(no offense to ppl who love apple)?
iPods/iPhones themselves are pretty nifty. But I hate using iTunes on Windows (and I most especially hate the smug condescending looks on the faces of many people using Apple products =/).
Recommendations will depend on what exactly your gf wants from the device. Is it simply used as a music player? Or does she really need the whole range of connectivity and media capabilities?

She realy is'nt the techy/functional user type, She's more of the bling/dumbed down gaget user
