Axis Powers Hetalia is a web comic drawn by Himaruya Hidekaz and depicts the story of actual countries as humans.
The main character is Italy (Feleciano) and his two companions, Germany (Ludwig) and Japan (Kiku).

I remember the old Afghanistu-tan comic. Almost in the same line, but Hetalia is much more comprehensive

Yeah, i think the Phil-tan will be added later on. The main focus of the story is from WW1 and WW2. Oh, there are rumors that the Phils will be Triplets--Luz, Vi, Min. >_< i can't wait though, the author already added a whole bunch of African countries under Britain like Kenya, Uganda, etc. XD
