Just skimmed through all of the tracks. Worth it, since it's free. It still has some of the funky basslines and rock guitars that was reminiscent of the AC4 OST, but it also manages to bring back some of the weird Japanese techno sound that was so prevalent in the PS1 games. Also, I swear some of the tracks can pass for RPG games (lots of orchestral strings).

Better than Silent Line's soundtrack? Hard to compare really, since Silent Line is an Armored Core game and so the action-packed music fits accordingly. I consider for Answer as a different sub-genre of AC though, so for the category of taking down fucking huge fortresses I'd say it's a match.

There're programs that convert sound formats. DBPoweramp music converter is one that I recall, but its mp3 encoder is only a trial version.
