Google to stop filtering search results on Google.cn

Quote:These attacks and the surveillance they have uncovered--combined with the attempts over the past year to further limit free speech on the web--have led us to conclude that we should review the feasibility of our business operations in China. We have decided we are no longer willing to continue censoring our results on Google.cn, and so over the next few weeks we will be discussing with the Chinese government the basis on which we could operate an unfiltered search engine within the law, if at all. We recognize that this may well mean having to shut down Google.cn, and potentially our offices in China.

While I am happy that a company as big as Google has the balls to stand up for its principles and say the corporate equivalent of a "F**k YOU!" to the Chinese government, I am worried about what will happen to the net community over there.

Locked doors on rooms and buildings might be a thing of the past. Structure Procedural System may very well revolutionize the way video games are played (in game). Imagine, every door and window in the game will always have something on the other side.

Yeah I've experienced that too. Slap on 2GB RAM and it becomes usable. But still, that should have been using XP.
