A huge surge of creativity outside designing ACs in RR. A lot of effort went into designing emblems, including those of RR mascots Sophie and then others. Eye popping effort done by RR’s resident artist Trace-02, each one of the emblems are original RR characters that are completely ogle/drool worthy. Take note that most of the emblems in the gallery are composed of 2 layers. Take a look at the awesome emblems after the jump:

The Green Flamingo emblem was inspired by the team’s colors, that and Trace wanted to turn the cock into a chick.

Beyond parts and performance there’s also vanity, and ACV attempts to satisfy the last urge with a new DLC garage. So far the Desert Base is confirmed to be out in Japan for some time now, reminiscent of an operation in some war-torn arid region, or a botched up Raven Republic summer BBQ party, the garage seeks to satisfy those with a preference for warmer climates. Despite Armored Core 5′s focus on team gameplay, the duel between 2 pilots still remains the “Classic” way to play Armored Core, holding true for all of the game’s incarnations.

GodlyPerfection has uploaded what seems to be a duel between two, top ranked JPN players in a best of three fight to the death. An operator oversees the fight and records the video. The uploader notes that you do not see the players go through Scan Mode due to the recording. True enough, this ACV video reminds us that the dueling spirit in Armored Core is not dead and has lived on.
