Sengoku Gyōjin Dullahan

Upcoming samurai anime Sengoku Gyōjin Dullahan ~Kagen no Keishōsha (Dullahan: inheritor of the Crescent Moon), a re-imagining of Japan’s Sengoku period, just got itself a 90 second promo trailer showcasing the characters and the concept behind the whole show. The twist differentiating Sengoku Gyōjin Dullahan from other Sengoku era shows is having the characters wear power suits and armor instead of traditional samurai armor, essentially making it a futuristic-feudal-era anime. The 90 second trailer can be seen in their official site, in the link after the jump:

Hideo Kojima: Zone of the Enders Game on “To Do” List

A recent interview with Hideo Kojima hints at a possible production of a new Zone of the Enders game. The interview itself was mostly about Kojima Production’s upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, detailing the new features in the franchise’s latest installment. However, when asked if there will be any new or upcoming ZOE games, Kojima responds that ZOE is on top of a “to do list” of games. Of course, a new ZOE game will only materialize after its done with and Kojima Productions seems to have its hands full with developing Peace Walker at the moment. Wi-Fi Between Devices (Wi-Fi Direct) Coming in 2010

The Wi-fi Alliance, the trade group for responsible for the current wi-fi system, has agreed to a new Wi-fi standard called Wi-fi Direct which will allow wi-fi devices to communicate directly without having to go through a wi-fi hub. The potential uses of this technology are quite big as one can potentially perform Bluetooth functions to already existing wi-fi devices. Videos can be sent to TVs from the PC without having a physical connection between the two, or play ridiculous pranks on your neighbor’s equipment who still has an unsecured wi-fi connection. This revolutionary new technology may fulfill the technological dream of being able to control any electronic device remotely, at a touch of your fingertips.

The most excellent thing with this story: It will come as a software upgrade to already existing wi-fi devices and will come built-in with newer ones. Wi-fi Direct is expected to be out by mid-2010.

Thanks to Grim for the heads up.

Raven Republic Armored Core Kit(ty) Bash 3

Raven Republic members held the 3rd AC kit bash event last October 10 in forum member Trace‘s residence. Kit Bash 3 is a combination AC model assembly, painting, model mash-up, and photo-op, members try to assemble model kits, paint them, and see which one fits with another, though the actual AC kit bash hasn’t occurred yet (a true mix-match of parts resulting in an original creation hasn’t materialized as of the moment). Of course, it wouldn’t be complete w/o Japanese curry, the official food during an AC kit bash meet.

Anyway, pics of the model creations after the jump.
